Hello and thankyou for welcoming me to the forum. My photographic equipment consists of the following:-
Fuji S3 pro, Nikon F80, Sigma 17-70 f2.8-4.5, Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6, old Nikon 35-80, old Nikon 70-210, Nikon SB800 & a Fuji F11 compact.
just bought the Sigma 10-20; so will let you know how i get on with it. just a keen ametuer, and always ready to listen to advice. my moto:- great photos make the walls. but snaps make the memories.

Only got the lens this morning, I too am knocked out by the perspective from it.
had a look at the Member Gallery, can't even come close to those shots. as the moto sugests im more of a snapper. lol

Do not worry about this - the strength of this forum is that for every member capable of turning your toes up with the quality of their images, there are ten or more others (me included) that can't!

Even better is that the members who produce these great images are not at all condesending or look down on us mere mortals, but will actually help you to improve your shots, if you want to, that is - there is no compulsion here to do anything at all, you can just enjoy the site! How bad is that?

Add to this that EVERY member's opinion is respected regardless of experience or ability, and I think you will find that Pixalo is just simply the best Photo forum on the web.

Hi Dave
as i said bought the lens yesterday, along with an extreme iv 2g card. it was your comments on the 10-20 that persaded me to buy i, and join this great photograpic forum. put a search in google (sigma 10-20), and this site, along with your posting that cliched it. so many thanks.. ps will upload a pic or 2 soon.
