Hi just joined

Popped to local camera club 2nite and heard about you, so here I am. Hi to you all. I'm pretty new to SLR photography and digital imaging, but keen to learn and slowly getting a kit together. I want to photograph landscape and my travels but am also interested in anything creative and having a bit of fun so who knows where I'll end up. I feel my computer skills will be the biggest handicap as well as time but hey that must mean most of us! I can do basic imaging but now need to master raw conversions, not to mention layers etc so will have plenty of questions. Above all though it's the photography itself I want to learn first, and mastering the camera. I've got a Nikon D80 and am mega pleased with it so far.

Dave: Loved the Infra red, really fascinating! I am still unsure whether camera club is "4 me" but inspiration like that means it's gotta be worth sticking with, and there do seem to be some clever guys and gals there.
