Hi from a real newbie

Hi. I am a real newbie/amateur at photography . I have always wanted to get into photography, i have taken the plunge and bought a Canon eos 400d camera (please dont tell me i have bought the wrong camera for a newbie ) i am very impressed with the photos on this site and maybe one day i might be able to take some photo's like them.
