I've also just joined following Dave's talk on Monday. I'm hoping to learn lots from you all! I am also a total novice in using forums. My most pressing query is about using the photobook service - which forum should I use to ask for help about this?

If you get stuck on forum procedures just ask. Your question about the Photobook is best popped in the General Photography forum.

Don't worry about asking what you might think are silly questions - we've all been there and we are here to help

I've had a look at your mini review and sent off for the freebie. i encountered two problems, first I couldn't change the background to anything other than white or one of the photographs and secondly I have been unable to add any text in a text box. Am I missing something or have I got a glitch?

HI Linda, just checked & it's all there for you to play with. When on main pages for playing with Photobook you see following in top left. Choose the "backgrounds" tab & you have many options to play with

Re Text, in bottom right of screen you have a button marked " New Text" Clicking this brings up a text box on Photo Book. You can resize this box & move to where you want on pages. If you then double click within this box , it brings up the text entry box, where you can enter text, changes sizes, colours, fonts etc.

Have a play & let me know how you get on
