How is everybody doing?? Btw... who can tell me something about Canon Powershot G7? Is it the best compact ever? Thank you! |

Hi Airaf,
I run the G7 Yahoo group. The G7 isn't the best compact ever, but it's pretty close. It takes great pictures and is fast, compact and very capable. The lens is fantastic and the build quality is superb. It just feels great when you hold it and use it. I love the fact that it can fit in my pocket easily. It can focus as close as 1cm and has a 35-200mm zoom lens. The 2.5" LCD is crystal clear and very smooth. The movie mode is also great. Very clear, smooth movies. Some lament the lack of RAW and the flip out/twist LCD, but I never used RAW and the LCD is so clear, I don't really miss the flip/twist part. Ambrose |
