Introduction
Hello everyone,
My name is Ange, I just purchased the Sony A100 SLR. $ days old now and experimenting with it to learn as much as i can for my intended use. I have been interested in buying the Canon 400D for some time and i when i finally decided thats what i wanted, I came home with the Sony A100. This in itself was a worry as i had no idea if the Sony was as good as the 400D, but it did have some advantages over the 400D. So with some great help form 2 very well informed salesmen....i bought it. The price was fantastic too, payed 1500.00 with a 2gig card. So far I've taken over 400 shots, most were just to learn my ability. Some great shots too. But i know there is lots to learn before i will feel comfortable with myself. I hope to lean a few things from you all as i know there are many smart photographers in here. My main reason for getting into photography is because i do much rainforest exploring and I've seen some fantastic waterfalls and sunsets not to mention the wild life. But as with most of my past trips, some of those memories were forgotten, and its not so easy to describe to people something that should be seen for its beauty. So now, I intend to take lots of pictures of this great country we have here. Ange |

Welcome to Pixalo Ange.
Sounds like you got yourself a good deal there with the Sony  If you get chance it would be great if you could share your views on it here :- http://www.pixalo.com/reviews/showpr...uct/217/cat/11 ..... no need for technical review, just an honest opinion  Having visited Sydney you have a great place to take some shots. Looking forward to seeing them soon
