Hello, thought I would browse here for a while. I have been a member of another site and have submitted pic's.
However having re-read their terms regarding copyright I have decided to look elsewhere.

So, here I am and look forward to being part of this community...cheers!.

I am curious. What was that other site and what were the copyright problems. If there is a problem we should all know. The info. cannot be confidential as it is posted somewhere so they cannot object to a link to it being posted so we can all judge for ourselves.

Hi, the site I mentioned is UKexpert who claim the right to the copyright to all photo's that you upload.
To me this means they can sell your pic's without you even knowing!.
They ask for photo,s to be uploaded at a large size, perhaps this the reason.
However I found the people on the site to be very friendly and the only reason I will not upload onto this site is the copyright issue....Cheers

That is horrendous !!!! Well spotted.

Not only do they want large images they do not want the authors name on them !!!. And it also appears that you cannot get the images deleted from the site. I wonder how many people just clicked that "accept" button without reading the terms and conditions. T here seem to be some very nice pictures in large sizes just waiting to be sold or whatever.

I think this is unacceptable, No one should claim copyright of other peoples work; so often remarked upon by the "Armature Photographer" magazine..
There is no point in pointing this out on their site as it will be blocked.
