Hey peeps

My name is David and im from Nottingham in the midlands. Just thought i would drop by and say hello. Ive been into photography now for three yrs starting with a fuji s3000 then upgrading to a Canon 350D. My camera goes everywhere with me ( and i mean that!!!) so hopefully i will get some shots up for you to veiw and comment on.
Delving a little bit into b&w film photography atm but still love the digital. Some top photos on here your all very talented. See you soon

Glad to have another Mono fan here

Many years ago I tried the B&W film, with own darkroom etc. Never got it right though....alll th e prints seemed just greys, instead of deep backs & brilliant whites

Having returned to photography through digitial, I now find I can get the Mono's I always yearned, through Photo Shop

Must admit though, the photographers who have mastered Mono film, are still hard to beat in terms of ultimate quality . Still something quite magical about film

Im 6 weeks into a college photography course and if you can get your prints right its such a fantastic feeling. I beginning to see a difference between film and digital on the final print. Im also beginning to like the grain effect given from the film.
