That's an encouragement from the pixalo management to pop in. For a start I just purchased a Canon EOS 500D Kit II EF-S18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS. Totally new with DSLR camera and so many category to learn. So I decided with potrait photography and close-up of plants. I understand the len is all-rounder, therefore seek advise for purchasing another len for potrait photography with F1.4 or F1.8 apperture? please advise.

Re: Lost

You have everything you need in the lens you have, I dont really believe in a set lens for portraiture! try using the lens you have at between 50mm and 75mm that should give you some nice head a shoulder portraits!
