New to DSLR photography
Hello PIXALO community:
I have recently bought a Nikon D80 with a 18-200 mm Nikkor VR lens. I am thrilled with out of the box ease of use so far but I have a lot to learn about the various controls. I hope to learn from reading other peoples experiences with their D80's. I have taken pictures of birds in flight which I often missed with my Panasonic FZ20. Looking forward to learning more from the Pixalo community. sjserius  |

D80 and 18-200VR seems to be a popular combination. My friend has that camera and lens and loves it. Just Wednesday I also bought my first DSLR. I also got the D80, but opted for a 18-50 2.8F(Sigma) and the 70-300 (Nikon VR) and I am also very impressed with the handheld bird photos I've taken with the Nikon VR lens.
I hope you're having as much fun learning as I am! |
