Hi everyone,

New on here - not been doing as much photography as I used to but definately going to spend more time this year.

Still a film person (except for inevitable digi-compact) 35mm- slide user (mainly Velvia) but will probably make the change to a digi SLR this summer.

Thanks guys for the welcome.

Stephano - yeah it is a great guitar but only ever owned a cheap copy (back in the 70s) but these days just make do with an acoustic. Truth is I'm a useless musician but am obsessed with listening to music and reading about and researching it, and in some ways wish I'd had a career as a music journalist or photographer. But am really content with it as an obsessive hobby. That's while you'll see me around the music threads on Hi-fi Wigwam which is good fun as well.

Did though borrow a genuine 1950s strat for a studio shoot a few years back - will dig out the slides - get them scanned and put them on here.

First priority is to get a decent PC - will post a separate thread later in the week for some advice.

Hey Strat,
Music and photography have a lot in common - get those creative juices flowing and lets see you make music with light.
