 Hi all,JJust joined the forum, recently upgraded to Nikon D80 from Canon 350D. I haven't done much, if any, creative stuff with the Canon, as it was more of a new-baby-in-the-house-buy when my daughter was born. Started getting back into photography and then wasn't happy with results. I think the Sigma lens was to blame, but it gave me the excuse to buy the Nikon!! Nikon only a couple of days old, still wading through the manual. Owned and still have bunch of Pentax 35 mm SLR's, changed to Minolta Dynax 7000i, even took SLIDES!!!!  for a while before buckling under the digital trend.  Must confess I am a total convert to digital format My creative streak is fairly rusty, thus I will be expecting yards of patience from fellow forumers |

I recently bought the Nikon D80 also, and *LOVE* it!! It's a great camera, you're going to love it!

Hi there. Panic not! I am very much a newbie here but decided to dive in. Friendly folk. Stick up the pics any critique will be positive and helpful.
  PS. Canon gadgie (West Cumbrian dialect) myself but your Nikon will do the biz.
