Newbie To Site
OK so I stumbled onto this site by accident. How - you say? Welp, I just got a new toy - TomTom One GPS and was looking for tutorials for it. It gave me a link here. I aint seen nothing about TomTom's here but hey I also just got me a Nikon D50 last year and haven't learned much on it either soooo.... Killing two birds with one shot or.. would that be shoot .. hmm
 ...  well actually still looking for tutorials for the TomTom ...are there any here in this site.. *listens to see if there is* ok well anyway.. going surfing this site..  Its nice to meet ya'll and forgive me Im a newbie and have low self esteem issues sooooo.. i detest posting in public much ... but once i post .. I post alot LOL.. anyway i"ll go back into the shadows and lurk... thanks for allowing me to join. Yer site looks way cool ...  and i LOVE yer images.. yippppeee

Welcome to Pixalo L_M
 We have a couple of threads on TomTom in General chat, i think. These are not tutirials, but one deals with safety cameras and the other some general opinions on what sat nav is best.Photography is more intreresting! I'm sure you will benefit from this site. |

Aww what a wonderful welcome. Thanks. My hard drive died Friday night so wont be on much till its fixed. All my bookmarks are poof. Glad someone posted me a message so I could retrieve new mail since that too poofed.. *sigh*
Did my 3rd wedding photo shoot this past Sat. Learning things as I go. My latest lessons on the shoot were .... ALWAYS ... put new batteries in before the bride travels down the lane..  Yep.. I had 3 back up packs of batteries for my SB600 errr but .. well lets just say I shot some key shots with LOW LIGHT lol.. due to distance (left in fellowship hall) from the batteries to my camera ... thank goodness for editing programs ... and.. I will NOT ever ask the preacher if I can shoot while the ceremony is going. They all say no flash but then all the other folks viewing the ceremony are flashing away with their point and shoot cams LOL... thats just wrong ... to say no and then the others shoot away. So I slipped back into the back and put on my long lens and shot a few .. key shots. Yep learning shore is hard werk *lol* i mean work! ~deb~ |
