How ya's doin? I'm not new to photography, but new to the DSLR realm of it. I first learned on a Canon AE1, and recently picked up the Rebel XT. Having some small issues deciding which lens to get though, as the kit lens isn't up to par.

I've been spending a fair amount of time in that forum already. I'm leaning towards 2 lenses: the EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM, and the EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM. Pretty much set on the macro, not sure on the zoom. I might be persuaded to pick up a fisheye instead.

LOL! Nothing like a wide open choice! Heard good things on the macro (but not as good as the Sigma 105mm, obviously!

Hi there and welcome to Pixalo - I have the 100mm Macro and I used to have the 70-300 (definitely better than the 75-300), if you have any questions about them ask away.
