Hi Folks,
I'm the 'old' thing and belonging to a photography website is the new thing for me!
I'm a retired Electrical Engineer - the old timie 60 hertz kind - and have always enjoyed taking pictures of my family and scenery. It seemed great to me to be able to get into the digital world and just 'click away'...once you have the equipment it just doesn't cost like film and you can get instant feedback.
I started out a few years back with an AGFA 1.1 mp digital and loved it. Have progressed to a Canon 30D and what a nice camera!
Not much to share with you folks nowdays, the Lord is allowing me to stay at home and care for my sweet wife of 53 years who is in the final stages of Alzheimer's. He provides me with support...along with family and friends.
I will sure enjoy your pictures though!

I guess in your circumstances you are limited in what you can do, but you can still share your experience and wisdom with us, so we look forward to that, and you must have some pictures that you can share with us too.
