Still here
Hi all,
I dropped in a couple time lately, and noticed my account is slowly getting peeved because I donīt post anything, and I hope I donīt get kicked out for being listless. The thing is, I have a crappy leg, which will be amputated next spring, but until then I have to put up with it and all the trouble it is giving me, like right now with a periostitis. So, now I not only have to make do with photographing from places that are wheelchair accessible, now I even have to see it is allowed to stop my car there. And that usually makes boring pictures. Hi Daisies,
Best of luck with your amputation + chin up until then I've been a 'roadside shooter' until recently, always had my baby in the car with me, so I know how frustrating it is not to be able to wander about looking for a decent shot + it doesn't take long to exhaust all the local roadside scenes  My daughter's at pre-school now, so I have a bit more freedom to go walkabouts, which I'm grateful for. Remember that there's more to photography than landscapes tho' + maybe think about doing still lifes or something that you can do at home or in the garden (if you have one) e.g. macro flowers/insects etc.? Architecture should be more accessible to you than landscapes as well, maybe you have some interesting buildings where you live? What about street candids? There are loads of options when you think about it  In any event, don't be shy to visit Pixalo just for a chat All the best, Charlotte.

Hope All Goes Well Daisies, You Will Be Ok, After You Get Over The Anger
And Frustrations, You Will Come To Terms With How Your Life Has Changed, But There Is Life After, I Know I Have Been There. I Lost My Arm Through An Accident At Work, Also My Wife Has Had Ms For 37 Years And Is In A Wheelchair Fulltime. Life Isn't Easy But We Get As Much Out Of It As We Can. Our Grandchildren Keep Us Going. Very Best Wishes . |
