Meerkat
Common as muck shot these days but managed to get him to look at me by making a noise like a worm
![]() All that fur makes it hard to show the sharpness of detail on a monitor but enough there to see it ok I guess. I struggled to get the meerkat standing out from its surroundings but again am reasonably happy with the result. See what you think. Cheers, Rob

Great portrait, nice bokeh and colour (quite a film-like saturation going on there), diagonal above head distracts a little, not not too much

To though in my obligatory 'but' - its a shame about the car track tyre mark at the little chap's side. |

Yup, I know what you mean Steve, I did think about cloning some grass over that. Actually, it's not a tyre track, it's a type of matting that they embed in the earth to stop the soil on their mounds and things being eroded too much by rain etc.
