Hi Brian,
I was in Girona last year so I'm fairly familiar with this viewpoint. That looks like the bridge designed by Gustav Eiffel in the bottom left third. This image has been framed well withthe trees but for me the trees tend to over dominate the sky and feel quite heavy. A lower viewpoint would have 'lifted' the trees slightly and still would have framed the Cathedral well. A good effort and a pleasing image.

Thanks for your comments Andrew. Yes my wife and I revisited Gerona in July after a gap of about 25 years. This time though without our children,much more relaxing.
The bridge in view is as you have said by Eiffel and I took the shot as low as I could without going down to the water line!!. I agree 50% less trees would improve the shot and remove the umbrella effect!!.
