Well here is my effort.
Cropped frame out then each stage is on a duplicate layer of the top layer in the stack.
select sky and clouds>inverse selection>levels move RH slider to meet histogram>select grass>repeat levels>burn top half of sky at 3% set to mid-tones>dodge clouds 3% set to highlights>clone halo around edges of cathederal>flatten image>dup layer.select wall above grass>levels RH slider to histogram. Added border.

Added some unsharp mask (probably too much)
0.7 (At this res) and 100%.
0 threshold, although I have made the sky grainy.
My guide to USM is this.
Work at pixel for pixel.
Wind it up to full power. Adjust the pixel size so the scale of the sharpening is correct. Wind it back down to 100%. If you can see a little bit of a difference turning on and off the preview this is about right. If you can see alot of an improvment this is too much.
You may be able to remove sharpening from areas where you do not want it by increasing the threshold. Usually about 12. I was in a hurry so zero in this case.
I've still lost the patches of dark and light stone in the original.
(and still concerned its now a very silly colour. Please let me know. The first two look too blue or cold to me. This is probably wher you tell me the building is that colour.)
