Great timing again as usual. Interesting composition with the surfer in the foreground enjoying the wave and the heavy equipment in the background working to protect the coast from the wave action. It reminds me of storm surf days when houses on the beach are being demolished by pounding waves and we are out surfing our brains out, meaning no disrespect to the people having the difficulties...life happening as it happens. Everywhere the ocean is, there is surf. You keep me stoked Twiggs, Thank you

Thanks Soulsurfer. The construction behind is the port enterance being widened which will effect the wave size further down the beach at a spot I and most surfers in Durban grew up surfing. Thirty years ago this wave would be double this size then they extented the break water at the entrance. Then as you say storm surf would destroy the beach front
