This shot was actually taken nearly two years ago; there were no strobes or other artificial light sources - just sunlight coming in through the window (rear) and a Lastolite Tri-grip reflector used to bounce in some front fill light -hence the catchlight to the lower right of Maria's eyes.
The key to the image's look is shooting the Nikkor 85mm f/1.4 lens wide open: it has excellent colour, contrast and bokeh at f/1.4 and is a killer portrait lens when you have enough working distance to use it on a DX body.

Wow I'm impressed with that setup VP I have been eyeing that lens (as referred to me by Orangepeel), wondering if it will be useful for the wedding I will be shooting in a few months time 
This shot has such a fabulous soft glow to it, which is why I thought you'd used the softbox you recently acquired. Just goes to show you the different ways you can achieve a particular 'look' with different photographic media.
