Lew, here is a shot of one of my very first close ups taken in April of 2003. Close ups have been an interest I have had sence. As many others, when they have a new lens, it is fun to post some of the first shots,,thanks for your comment and continued success with your outstanding pictures.

Very very nice !! did you use a diffuser ? do you think a person could put a piece of thin material over the built in flash on my Nikon camera, and use that as a diffuser ?

Hi frances,

I had a piece of tissue paper folded over my camera flash, taped with scotch tape on the ends. I have avoided using a flash for six years , but now I need to use one .

I just read something about putting direct tissue on your flash can cause the flash to make brown spots on your flash, I don't it is a good idea, I'm looking around for some other mounted types.
