Great shot with interesting surroundings although not the sharpest of the bunch the overall picture is wonderful.

These red squirrel pictures are wonderful.As Brian (above) has said this one has a great background.I live on the Isle of Wight and we also enjoy red squirrels in our local woods.

Thanks for the comment everyone. I think that the 70-300 Nikkor lens is a bit soft at 300mm, a pity really that this wasn't quite sharp enough, but I did like the pose!
