The remnants of the old landing stage at the Liverpool waterfront where the liners of a bygone age used to berth and thousands of passengers would set off to a new life in distant places. I have treid to keep a 'grainy' feel to the photo to reflect the age of the stuctures seen and I have also adjusted the sky with the levels in PS (have a bit of a halo on top of the hut).

This has got my two favorite ingredients. Derelict and mono. Nice shot, but the clouds give a kind of artificial feel. It might be the light edge at the top and on the LHS, and/or the feathered bottom edge. Something just not quite right for me.

Thanks for comments - I know what you mean it's not quite there yet - may do abit more work on it and repost but as you say it's a wonderful scene and such a shame it'll soon be demolished to build anew 'fancy' terminal! cheers Maddie

Nice shot, I agree with dabhand the clouds are the issue. If you crop the top of the frame just as the dark clouds start, it looks great. Have you got any shots closer(for more detail areas??) love to see them!!

Putting my unoriginal hat on, I'd agree with the others! Sky is somewhat weird and artificial looking. But I'd go further and argue that the interest is in the landing stage and foreground anyway!
