OK, here's my attempt
- Levels adjusted....way too light to start with
- S Curve added to deepen the blacks on the cat
- Cropped to bring cat on the 1/3 line, which balances the shot better
Not sure if I've over sharpened it though

It might be my monitor, but I think the contrast might need to be increased. I'm having a bit of difficulty making out the body, even with the light off.
How long could it hold this pose before loosing it's grip?

I had to look at this one for a long time. In general, I like it, but I have some problems.
The focus is just a tad soft, and the cat is centered (centred?). Maybe I am beating a dead horse (cat?) but the primary object of interest should usually be off center to create more interest.
One more thing: I love mono, but I think this would be a keeper in color.

I got the idea for this after hearing that an art gallery had opened that was completely devoid of any art. Apparently people paid to be taken around the gallery by a guide who asked them to imagine the various pieces. ???????

Maybe you could produce a set? I'm sure you could find some galleries only too willing to show them.
