Just seen your comment Kukuphoto - my back was on the wall! There is only this one place where you can get the furthest distance from the Minster without walking down the road and taking a more angled shot (which I did too). Without the Amazing Sigma 10-20, a lot less of the building would have been in the shot. I've corrected the converging verticals too, which also impacts on the usable area of the image.

Was just pottering and browsing and came across the comment from Kukuphoto.......
I stood in a few differing places trying to get a decent shot of the Minster, and it's a tricky one - not least that there's lamposts, cars, signs...all manner of nuisances in the way.
Mine's not a good shot, just a snap on a grey day - but I'm just adding it to show the difficulties....
