This lens performs to the highest possible standards with both film and digital SLR systems. The use of the latest Special Low Dispersion Glass and two aspherical lenses in its optical construction gives excellent performance. The HSM (High Speed Motor) provides the quietest and fastest possible focusing speed. Internal Focus ensures that the lens design is compact and is ideal for the use of creative and polarising filters as the front lens assembly doesn't rotate during use or adjustment of zoom or focusing. A matched tulip shaped lens hood is supplied with the lens. The lens has full manual focus capability.
