Pros: It came FOC, passable print quality,
Cons: Fat and wide, noisy printing, slow colour printing

Having "borrowed" (long term) one of these from work I've tried a few print outs from it, and I have to say they're not bad, it's not a quick printer but as I only intend to print the odd photo it works for me. I have to say that it is quite noisy when printing as it does "clunk and bang" a bit, it's also rather wide so placing this printer may cause a problem or two!

Over all I have to say that for a two cartridge printer the results are more than passable as I have couple of Avro Lancaster shots that I'm going to print and get framed.

Plus points.
Prints to A5 A4 A3 and A3 plus paper.
Passable print quality.
Easy to setup.
Easy to maintain.
Easy cartridge replacement.

Minus points.
It's a large printer.
It's slow at colour printing. (If like me you only intend to print a few photo's then it's more than faster enough)
It's a bit noisy when printing.
A3 Plus paper pick up is a bit hit and miss. (Best to give it a helping hand to get it started)

Would I
Have one? yes as this one came free!!!
Have a HP printer? No, HP make good printers for the office but not so good for the likes of us photogs.
Buy one? No I would look at Epson or Canon or Lexmark multi cartridge printers.
I go elsewhere for A3 printing? Maybe depending on my photo printing needs at that time.

I'm not trying to knock HP but at the end of the day there is a large choice of A3 printing, if you are tight for space then Snappy Snaps or your local photo printing shop may well be worth a visit, or go see a friend who has an A3 printer!!

As always hope it helps
