Not much scope for use

Whilst the case itself is well-made, and there is nothing wrong with it per se, I have never found any use for it.
I bought it thinking it would be useful for :
(a) those times when I was taking just my camera out, i.e. as a protective cover while it was loose in the car, and to save having to take a camera bag ; and
(b) to keep on the camera while it lay idle at home for any length of time, just to save it from gathering dust.
However, whilst it is not particularly fiddly to put on or take off, I could not be bothered with it, and it remains unused.
I would certainly not call the CF-D50 Semi-Soft Case an essential item, and indeed I personally wish I'd never bought it.
If anyone does specifically want, and have use for, a semi-soft case for the D50, then I would say to you that it is a quality product. However, if you don't have a specific need for it, don't waste your money.
