An excellent collection of some of the best photographs which have been taken for the National geographic Society and edited by Leah Bendavid-Val.
This book can be left lying around and picked up just to browse and admire the images or to give you inspiration for your next shoot. It will originally have cost a small fortune but can be bought for a song nowadays and I found my copy in a cut-price book store for £9.99.
Buy one for yourself or as a Christmas Present. The photographs are something to behold. Recommended, especially at the current price.

I came across this book in one of those cut-price book shops and in my case it was reduced from about £30 if I remember correctly. It is what it is - a coffee-table book. It is very glossy and packed with a wide range of photographs taken by National Geographic photographers over the years.
You can browse the book simply to admire the images and see what other places are like, a sort of armchair travelogue. Or, as I also do, you can refer to it for inspiration and different ideas on how to approach a shoot you might be doing.
It is one of a series of Nat. Geog. books which cover a variety of types of shoots. This one seems to be very general. Whether I would have paid full price for this bookI don't know but at a reduced price it is certainly recommended.
