Pros:
Very sharp
Cons:
Not being able to use a filter
Excellent light weight lens, with superb end to end sharpness. I am very happy with it. If you don't want to spend as much towards the 14-24mm or you find the weight of the 14-24mm a problem, then this is the solution. Off course not being able to have a lens cap in front but a leather cap that goes around the front bit and not being able to use any filters, is a bit of a pain. But you can use gel filters instead if you would want to. Not sure how to use that as yet. And another down side I find is that you don't have the ability to zoom like you can with the 14-24.
I'm amazed how wide-angel it is. For now, this lens will do for what I need it for. Hopefully someone out there is thinking of a filter that you can use at the front of this lens. It would definitely finish it off for me.
