Pros: User Friendly, Outstanding Software for price.
Cons: Shock horror Cannot find one.

Photography is one of the most expensive pocket burning hobbies going, Adobe flagship will cost you around £600 which not many can afford, their cheaper version seemed to always leave you short, specialy if you came from Photoshop 7. The first 4 versions of Elements were poor to be honest and you might as well have bought Paint Shop pro that only cost £20.00 more. Then they released Elements 5 and it showed so much promise but just left you wanting more.

They now release Elements 6, this is a proper workflow piece of software for the novice to advanced amature. Formed by 4 Elements, first being the Organiser which is a spin off from bridge and lightroom, giving you the ability to manage and organise all you pictures into one place with the ability to keywork and folder images in files you can instantly find. Outstanding improvement from Elements 5 and no more surching folders and files to find one image.

The Edit module is very powerful, you have two main options, quick which allows you to do the basic light and sharpening and full which allows you to do most advanced modifications. Using magazines for a few months like digital photo will allow you to pick it up quickly.

Crete is the printing module, this controls all your printing needs, allows you to crete a page with multible images.

Share does what is says, helps you to share you images of the web and with your friends and famly.

For the price you are going to find it hard to find anything better.

A friend of mine summed it the other day when he said "Adobe very rarely get it wrong now"

hope this helps.
