Description: The ultimate photo editing and airbrushing software.

Why is Portrait Professional retouching software better?

Portrait Professional is new intelligent portrait airbrushing software that has been 'trained' in human beauty. It lets you improve your photos instantly, just by moving sliders. With Portrait Professional, it's incredibly easy and fast to:

• Subtly reshape all or any aspect of the face to make it more attractive
• Fix skin blemishes such as spots or pimples
• Reduce and/or remove wrinkles
• Remove grease, sweat or unsightly shine highlights from the skin
• Adjust the lighting on the face to make it more flattering
• Remove red eye
• Whiten teeth and eyes

All of these operations require no artistic ability, due to the built-in intelligence in the image editing software. This automatic airbrush really does do all the hard work for you. To prove it for yourself, you can download your free trial photo editing software now.

How does the automatic touch-up work?

Portrait Professional has been shown hundreds of photographs of beautiful human faces, and using sophisticated statistical techniques, it has learnt how to subtly airbrush and touch-up photographs to make them more beautiful.

All you have to do is choose how much to enhance the lighting, the skin texture and even how many wrinkles to remove. You can even subtly re-sculpt the face to make your subject look as good as possible by just moving a few sliders.

Portrait Professional touches up and enhances people in the same way that good lighting and perfect makeup is used to make someone look more attractive. The software really can make anyone look as good as a celebrity in a magazine.

Why not use Photoshop as your portrait touch-up software?

It is true that most of these improvements can be made using traditional photo editing software such as PhotoShop. However, it would take a skilled touch-up artist many hours to perform the tricky manual airbrush and touch-up operations that would be necessary.

Portrait Professional allows unskilled users to get sophisticated fully professional touch-up in minutes. For the first time portrait photo software for all!

Even experienced PhotoShop users have been impressed at the speed with which they can get a totally natural looking airbrushed touch-up, just by moving sliders. And less skilled Photoshop users would quite simply be unable to get as good a photo touch-up however many hours they spent.

Just because Portrait Professional is easy to use, does not mean it limits your ability to airbrush your portraits just how you want them. The difference is that where in Photoshop you would use a brush, which requires patience and skill, in Portrait Professional you use sliders, which are easy.

Pros: Quick + easy to use. Excellent results. Reasonably priced.
Cons: None.

Portrait Professional is great for a quick makeover on any portrait, it really gives professional results with the greatest of ease + minimum of effort. You can do as much or as little processing as you like, whether it be to remove blemishes or to go further + remove wrinkles etc., or even give someone a full-on facelift by completely re-shaping/modelling their face! It's a great piece of software, and well worth going for the 'Studio' version which lets you work on RAW and TIFF files, so make sure you download the right version for your preferred workflow.

The new version 8's main improvements seem to be (1) You can change the colour of the eyes and the hair; (2) More detailed eye + mouth adjustment; (3) smooth + thicken hair. It is also now Mac compatible.

Currently £19.95 to upgrade from v.7 Max to the v.8 Studio, which they claim is half price for a limited time, i.e. normally £39.95 - which is the same price as the full standard version 8.

Notes:
1. Re: price I paid, this was for the previous version 7 Max.
2. I haven't upgraded to the new version 8 yet, but probably will
