Description:

All other diffusers "point" the light forward like a flashlight. Lightsphere is the only diffuser that lights up the entire room, softening your images tremendously.
This is a flexible, totally CLEAR VINYL diffuser with internal snap on dome... - The only one like it anywhere! This large diffuser is light, flexible and soft. It fits easily into your camera bag. But that's not why it is so amazing. The inside of the Lightsphere is completely textured to make the light dispersion even more "soft" than it would be otherwise! And because of this design, we were able to make the material more translucent, keeping the unit from losing a lot of light while actually increasing the diffusion and softness of light. Clear vinyl cuts down on light loss and also gives it a more sleek professional appearance while still delivering the soft diffuse light you demand. This version is designed for fast action, tight spaces and crowds. The new vinyl construction ensures a snug fit on a wide range of flash heads without the need for adaptors. Everything you asked for is finally here!
Verticals are such a bummer with flash units! But all you need to do is flip your flash head up and you'll have soft, smooth lighting. Typical diffusers change the shape of the lightsource when you flip vertical (to a much smaller surface).
SHOOTING OUTDOORS IS GREAT WITH THE DOME POINTED FORWARD!
The inverted dome allows you to softly diffuse direct light with a large, soft source without creating flare on the front of your lens.

Over Priced

Having the Lambency Diffuser copy at 20% the price, I picked one of these up second hand for a more reasonable price.
On a Nikon SB800, in upright position as per product image, it was excellent for portrait shooting at parties / weddings. People will inevitable ask you why you're carrying a salad bowl on your flash
Definetly worth buying if you can get one second hand. You have to decide if it is worth £50 new.
