Pros: inexpensive
Cons: S l o w

Offers a 3.6x, 55-200mm zoom to ensure close composition (equivalent to a 82.5-300mm lens in 35mm format)
Size: 3.1" (79 mm) long by 2.7" (68 mm) around.
Weight: 9 oz. (255 g),
Aperture Range: f/4 - 22 at 55 mm; f/5.6 - 32 at 200 mm.
Diaphragm: Nine blades, rounded at larger apertures.
Close Focus: 3.1 feet (0.95 meters),
Included Accessories: 52mm snap-on front lens cap (LC-52), Rear Cap (LF-1), hood (HB-34) and semi soft case (CL-0815).
Focus system: Silent wave motor internal to lens.

It really isn't a fast lens, it is an "AF-S" Lens which just means that it will focus "Silently" but not fast !
I bought because it was inexpensive so it buys me time to save for a GOOD telephoto lens, I recomend this lens only if you are begining in photography.
